The Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008 requires that every manufacturer of a product that is subject to a consumer product safety rule, ban, standard, or regulation enforced by the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issue General Certificates of Conformance (GCCs). This requirement applies to products that are imported or domestically manufactured.
Blueprint Medicines manufactures prescription drug products that are governed under the CPSC regulations. The following Blueprint Medicines GCCs certify that the products (the child-resistant packages) comply with the Poison Prevention Packaging Act requirements under 16 CFR § 1700.
